In 2009, my father was diagnosed with lymphoma. I left the Army to take care of him. One year became two, and two became four. I keep thinking back to who I was then and how much I could have used someone in my corner who knew how to help. That’s who this school is for.

Sacred Promise Institute is a nonprofit nursing assistant school in Bonita, California, built to train the Certified Nursing Assistants who help people eat, bathe, dress, and move with their dignity intact. San Diego County is projected to need about 1,500 new CNAs every year through 2033.

What a gift does
$700 outfits a class with gloves, gowns, and lab supplies.
$2,000 puts one student through the whole program.
$24,000 covers tuition for a full class of 12.
